D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival

Today we ventured into D.C. to see the Cherry Blossoms while in bloom. We went with my good friend Kristina and her two kids. It was a beautiful day, for once, and we had such a great time. I wish the pictures were a better quality but, I had to bring the video camera because our regular camera is no longer working. (my doing, blonde moment) But here is a little taste of the day!!

Being silly and 3!!

Feeding the seagull's our left over fries

It was such a great day and just what we needed. It has been so cold and rainy in VA. Today it actually felt and looked like spring!!! We can't wait to go back and explore some more

Kristina, I have never seen anything like it. Everytime the wind blew, it snowed white petals...you needed to be there with your camera!!! Not to mention we were surround by memorials & monuments. Can't wait to go back and discover more!!
